Published by W. K. Kellogg, Battle Creek, MI in 1909, FUNNY JUNGLELAND is a pre-comic book flip book with moveable flaps that allow the user to dress anthropomorphic animals in various costumes. Item is in very good original condition with stiff pictorial wrappers. Made up of a 3 page stapled fold-outs with 2 pages cut into 6 folding flap strips which can be folded interchangeably in almost infinite combinations onto all 3 pages. Brightly colored humorous illustrations on all sheets. Published not only as a pre-comic game book, but also to advertise Kellogg's Corn Flakes.

This remarkable survivor has stiff cardboard stapled wraps that show soiling and some creasing, however, the colorful illustrations show well. Prior owner(s) name in pencil at top and at bottom of front wrap. Internally the fold-outs and folding flaps are bright and clean. Flaps are complete, securely attached and move freely. No pencil, pen, crayon or other foreign markings other then what has been noted.

Height is 10 1/2" and width is 8". Will be housed in clear acid free protective mylar sleeve with cardboard backing.
