Advertising for the product proclaims that, with the blessing of the AMA, physicians recommend this syrup for baby feeding because it is "rich in dextrins, maltose and dextrose". “Accepted” seal of the "American Medical Assn “ Council on Foods is on the side. Tin has been cleaned and waxed, very light and minor scratches and shallow imprints from handling. Tin is empty, No rust, normal oxidation of metal. Great collector’s tin, hard to find and in this condition it is exceptional. This isn’t a tin you shop around for, you buy it when you see it.
